The new address marks the debut of ibis Styles in Macaé, blending bold design with smart comfort
Colorful, creative, and full of character, ibis Styles Macaé is officially open – offering a fresh take on affordable, design-forward hospitality in the heart of this dynamic coastal city.
ibis Styles Macaé is Accor’s third hotel in Macaé and the first to fly the ibis Styles flag – a brand that celebrates self-expression, bold individuality, and the freedom to explore. Developed in partnership with Atrio Hotel Management, the largest hotel operator with 100% national capital, the hotel joins more than 30 Accor properties operating in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
With 100 creatively designed guestrooms, an inviting restaurant, rooftop pool, and playful social spaces, ibis Styles Macaé is a space that sparks imagination and lets guests feel truly free to be themselves. Whether staying for work or discovery, travelers will find comfort reimagined through clever design, vibrant interiors, and around-the-clock service.
Nationally recognized as Brazil’s energy capital, Macaé attracts companies, professionals, and events related to the offshore and service sectors. Its continuously developing infrastructure, combined with the charm of beaches such as Cavaleiros, Pecado, and Imbetiba, makes the city a business hub that also offers great leisure options. The new ibis Styles Macaé presents itself as a practical, comfortable, and cost-effective lodging solution for this multifaceted environment.
“ibis Styles Macaé was designed to reflect the city’s rhythm – spirited, sociable, and always in motion,” said Olivier Hick, Chief Operating Officer for Accor Brazil, Premium, Midscale & Economy division. “We have created a hotel that combines functionality, comfort, and style. It’s a hotel that understands the rhythm of business travel while also offering the chance to relax and enjoy the best of the city”.
Reflecting the ibis Styles brand’s DNA, the hotel’s design features a modern, colorful, and welcoming atmosphere – perfect for working, relaxing, or socializing. The restaurant channels the “pleasure of good food” philosophy, offering a varied menu that includes à la carte dishes, quick bites, salads, snacks, and cocktails – ideal for those seeking convenience and quality without leaving the hotel.
“The ibis Styles Macaé represents more than just an expansion of our presence in the state. It marks a fundamental step forward in Atrio’s positioning in key markets with high demand for quality hospitality services”, says Rui Medeiros, Regional Operations Director at Atrio Hotel Management. The executive also emphasizes that with this opening, Atrio strengthens its presence in corporate destinations, consolidating its strategy of sustainable growth and focus on results. “We believe in Macaé’s potential and are committed to offering a modern, efficient operation that is aligned with the expectations of our guests and business partners”, adds Rui Medeiros.
With a prime location on Avenida Atlântica, the hotel is just 4 km from downtown Macaé and offers easy access to highway RJ-106, ensuring excellent mobility. Its proximity to commercial and industrial hubs, as well as the beaches, reinforces its positioning as a smart choice for both business and leisure travelers.
“Macaé is a city driven by business but also blessed with a rich natural setting. Our hotel reflects this duality, offering versatile service and well-designed spaces for every type of traveler,” adds Thiago Querido, General Manager of ibis Styles Macaé.
Room rates at ibis Styles Macaé start at R$224.
Present across 50+ countries, the ibis Styles portfolio comprises over 690 hotels, with an additional 160+ hotels under development. The brand’s purpose is clear: to provide a space where guests can express their unique style freely in a world of comfort. With a belief in freedom of expression and the power of creativity, ibis Styles celebrates those who live boldly, encouraging exploration and discovery.
