With artificial intelligence and automation, the group strengthens its revenue management culture and aims expansion to franchised hotels
In just one year, Accor, a global leader in hospitality, completed the rollout of IDeaS’ revenue management software — a global reference in smart pricing and revenue management solutions—across 96% of the Premium, Midscale & Economy (PM&E) hotels it manages in the Americas. The partnership, which began in early 2024, is already delivering significant results: more than 200 hotels in the Americas have been integrated into the platform, including 140 in Brazil, and many have shown a steady increase in RevPAR (revenue per available room) within just a few months of adoption.
The large-scale implementation of IDeaS technology marks a major step in Accor’s digital transformation. By combining artificial intelligence, key market demand and property data, and capabilities shaped by decades of industry expertise, the system automates formerly manual processes and delivers real-time insights, enabling faster and more strategic revenue management decisions.
Guilherme Marques, Director of Revenue Management & Distribution for Accor Americas in the PM&E division, says the rapid system deployment reinforces the company’s commitment to innovation and performance: “Being able to implement the IDeaS system across nearly our entire managed portfolio in the Americas in under a year shows how much we prioritize innovation and tangible results for our hotels, owners, and investors. The productivity gains we’ve already seen—alongside early signs of revenue growth—confirm we’re on the right path and with the right partner for this journey,” he said.
The global initiative was driven by the scalability of the solution, which is prepared to meet demands from Economy brands like ibis to more complex properties like Pullman hotels—as well as the strong performance of pilot locations. In addition, the technology was customized to address the unique needs of each Accor brand and market.
Another key impact of the initiative has been the strengthening of revenue management culture among local teams. By automating operational tasks, IDeaS tools have allowed teams to focus on strategic analysis in areas such as distribution, segmentation, and pricing—critical elements for remaining competitive in an increasingly dynamic market.
Encouraged by the strong results from the first phase of the partnership, Accor is now preparing for the next step: bringing revenue management technology to franchised hotels in Brazil and across the Americas.
